About A.K Equine Sports Therapy

My name is Aleisha Ketley and I am a fully qualified and insured Equine Sports Massage Therapist based in the South East of England. I will be covering Chelmsford and surrounding areas, offering my services to your horses.
I have been horse-mad since a young child, and have always known I wanted a career in the equine industry.
Growing up I worked on livery yards, and at one stage I thought I would go on to study vet nursing. However, this idea soon changed after researching ways to generally build a horse up, or different exercises for a horse coming back into work, or exercises that would benefit an ex-racehorse in re-training- I took an interest in this side of things.
Throughout college, I enjoyed the rehab modules, when it then became clear to me that I wanted to pursue a career as an Equine Massage Therapist where I can not only help those in the rehabilitation phase, but also ‘pre-hab’ a horse before any issues arise. So, here I am now, starting as an Equine Sports Therapist.
I have loaned and owned my own horses, as well as possessing various equine academic qualifications. I work for a local horse sanctuary as my main job and have previously worked on showjumping yards and livery yards around Chelmsford. My knowledge and professional experience will be brought to every session, and my aim is to help both you and your horse as much as i can both in the session and outside of it, building a great client-practitioner relationship
